Covid-19 is still with us. Our primary concern for the health of students, staff, and families make canceling camp a sad, but simple decision. We hope by summer 2022 all involved with camp will be vaccinated and able to gather for music, fun, and dance!

Alaska City Folk Arts is a five day music and arts camp, held in the heart of Anchorage. We are located on the campus of Anchorage Waldorf School. A woodsy, collaborative vibe sets the scene for learning folk tunes and traditions, and helps campers engage in arts that spark creativity and forge friendships.
Activities begin before camp with sing-alongs and contra dances. Campers attend four classes all week long - anything from fiddling, to juggling, to swing dancing! After camp, Blackboard Concerts and Jam Sessions encourage campers to sing and play together. Evening events are open to the whole family! Join us for the Wednesday night Faculty Concert, and the Camp Dance on Thursday night. Don’t miss the Friday Festival, where campers will amaze you with what they have learned throughout the week!
